On the Green

Many of golf’s biggest legends and sought-after designers have created golf courses in Orlando, inviting meeting attendees to master some of the most gorgeous, challenging greens they will ever play. One of the most prestigious in that regard can be found in the heart of Orlando: Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, home to the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard. More Palmer designs await at Shingle Creek Golf Club, adjacent to International Drive, and Orange Lake Resort, close to Walt Disney World® Resort.

Speaking of Disney, the three exceptional courses at Walt Disney World Golf are operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management. Your group will find another Palmer design at Reunion Resort Golf Courses, which is also the only club in the world with courses created by Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus. You can even play footgolf on Disney’s Oak Trail golf course. The 9-hole FootGolf course is certified by the American FootGolf League (AFGL).

There are more pros where they came from. For instance, Reese Jones’ designs can be played at Waldorf Astoria® Golf Club. For Greg Norman, hit The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes, then tackle Jack Nicklaus-designed golf at Grand Cypress Golf Club. You can also introduce your group to Tom Fazio’s approach to course design at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando, or nine holes from celebrated course architect Ron Garl at Grande Vista Golf Club. We even have the Rees Jones-designed Waldorf Astoria® Golf Club.

Other popular courses include those at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club. Best of all, these and other courses are all centrally located to our convention district. Fore!
